Midland Theater FRONT OF HOUSE

FEATURED PROJECT | COFFEYVILLE, KANSAS

The historic Midland Theater’s front-of-house project was a comprehensive undertaking that seamlessly blended the restoration with modern enhancements. The project breathed new life into this landmark, revitalizing it as a vibrant community event space. The first-floor entrance was updated with fresh paint and new flooring, setting the tone for a welcoming atmosphere. The original concession stand was not only fully restored but also upgraded ensuring it could accommodate and cater to a variety of events.

A significant addition to the first floor was the installation of new ADA-compliant restrooms, ensuring accessibility for all guests. On the second floor, the historic ballroom was carefully renovated, preserving the elegance of the original stained glass windows. Additionally, the second-floor restrooms and office spaces received much-needed updates, marrying historic charm with modern functionality. The result is a beautifully restored venue that honors its past while serving the needs of the present-day community.
